With the TIB (Balearic Island Transport) Palma is linked to the rest of the island. Their distinctive colors, red and yellow, differentiate them from the rest of the transport supply. Every bus has a stop at Plaza España, at the Intermodal Station where you’ll find buses, trains and subway. The buses will allow you to move around Palma and discover different tourist areas in Mallorca.
City buses in Palma — the 34 city bus lines are operated by a state owned company: the Municipal Transport Company of Palma. This company has a fleet of 150 vehicles, most of which are next-generation buses. They are propelled by gas and have air-conditioning. An express line connects Plaça d’Espanya with Son Sant Joan Airport. Line 2 carries out a complete tour through the historic city center.
