Royal Palace of La Almudaina (Avinguda Jaume III 9, Palma, Mallorca) – this palace, originally built as an Arabian fort, became an official royal residence in the 14th century. It is presently used as an official residence for ceremonies and state receptions. This, since Spain’s Royal Family has its Summer residence at the Palace of Marivent (just outside of Palma).

 

Admission: General (€6), Seniors & Students (€4). Children under 5 and the disabled: free. Hours: Daily 10 am – 8 pm (April 1 – Sept. 30), Daily 10 am – 6 pm (Oct. 1 – March 31).
